THE CAUSE
As you are aware, a cancer diagnosis affects not only one person, but everyone who loves that person, as well. 11 years ago, Ribbons of Hope was formed to raise
funds to support family and friends during their various cancer treatments.
Ribbons of Hope hosts an annual golf tournament with all proceeds going towards a charity that supported our friends, their families and our families during times of need. Each year we get together to share stories and continue to support the place that helped support us. Wellspring Sunnybrook is that place.
Wellspring has no government funding and charges no fees.
All funds raised at Ribbons of Hope events are donated to Wellspring Sunnybrook.

Ribbons of Hope has raised over a quarter of a million dollars in support of Wellspring Westerkirk House at Sunnybrook
Wellspring issues official tax receipts in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines. Only items purchased solely for the benefit of Wellspring, and monetary gifts will be issued a charitable tax receipt.
Gifts of service including certificates or vouchers for services are not eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
An acknowledgement letter can be issued indicating the fair market value of gifts made in-kind to Wellspring. Many companies deduct these gifts as business expenses for tax benefits.
